ABOUT ME
Mobile native with a passion for design
I have been working in the field of software engineering and development for almost a decade by now. My professional passions span a broad space, with local maxima at the fields of mobile development, image processing and computational photography, UI/UX design, and parallel computing leveraging the GPU.
The surroundings I thrive in the most are formed by highly motivated professionals, user-centric product development processes, interesting technical problems, and a clear company/project vision.
Hands-on experience & strong academic background
With practical experience at companies like Lightricks, Siemens, and Bending Spoons, I have had the privilege of working on demanding software projects with a focus on high-quality results. I have worked in cross-functional teams as well as technical R&D groups and have experience in leading other developers as a tech lead.
Several of the apps whose development I have actively lead or participated in were awarded with Apple's App of the Year and Google Play's Best App awards.
My work is based on a profound knowledge of computer science and software development concepts. With a B.Sc. of Computer Science from the University of Munich and a M.Sc. of Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, I do not shy away from solving challenging technical problems.
